Extended Day Program

 

Holy Angels School provides Extended Day as a service for families attending our school who desire a fun, structured, quality program for their children before and/or after school.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE 

  • Time - During the school year, all days we are in session. 

  • Hours of Operation - Open 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

  • Because of the long day involved, each day parents should dress their child in play clothes. 

  • Be sure to pack enough snacks for your child for after school.

  • Parents must pickup in the back of the school at the gym door. 

  • Rules will be consistent with those in the current school handbook. 

  • Parents are expected to be here by closing time, 5:30 p.m. An additional fee of $50 will be charged for all late pick-ups. 

  • Payment will be due at the end of each week unless other arrangements are made. Parents whose payments are more than 3 weeks late will forfeit the use of Extended Day services. 

  • A registration fee of $25.00 per child will be charged, this fee is non-refundable.

FEE SCHEDULE (2023-2024)

Daily per child: 

  • 6:30-7:45 $5.00

  • 2:30-5:30 $10.00

  • 6:30-7:45 $5.00

  • 2:30-5:30 $15.00

PRESCHOOL EXTENDED DAY

We also offer a special program for Pre-school children who are enrolled in the Preschool class. This program is geared specifically for Early Childhood. 

 

Preschoolers who are enrolled in this program will stay in the preschool room after the preschool class is dismissed at 11 a.m. While at Extended Day they eat their lunch (provided by family) have free play, crafts, and other activities. On nice days we will go outside and play. Some days we will walk to Lincoln Park (located behind school). The children will spend time each day involved in small Pre-School group activities for about 3 ½ hours each day and will then be part of the larger Extended Day group from 2:30-5:30.

 

You will need to purchase a mat for your child to rest on for $25.00. At the end of the school year, your child will be able to take their mat home. Be sure to pack enough snacks for your child for after school.
